Who are we and how did we end up producing Small Town Living?
Small Town Living began as a bi-monthly ezine in 2006. The idea for the publication was sparked by our own interest in relocating to a smaller rural community. As we researched a variety of subjects ranging from where to work and how to garden we began to meet others like ourselves, people who believed in the power of community and wanted to share their own stories and experiences.
In late 2010 we decided a better way to gather all this information together would be a Community Blog. Many of our writers migrated from the magazine with us into this new format.
We've preserved our first three years of issues in the Small Town Living Compilation CD we have to admit our surprise when we finished the project and ended up with just over 1000 pages of articles!
In the future we hope to go to press with a "Best of Small Town Living" book but in the mean time, we'd love to have you join us at: Small Town Living.
